We took the girls out to Cheekwood botanical gardens with our friends Dan and Meredith and their two girls. The kids had a great time hiking through the water, feeding the fish, and walking around looking at the displays. The interactive exhibit this year is "birdhouses", which really aren't as much fun as the mazes or the playhouses from previous years, mostly because you're not allowed to play with them.
My favorite is way in the back, on the Woodland Nature Trail. It's three little dresses hanging on a line and it's called "A home for sparrows". The dresses have little bits of grass and nest poking out the top and the sleeves.
